Martin receives grant through the Law & Social Science Program at the NSF
The grant, "Collaborative Research: Updating the U.S. Supreme Court Judicial Database," is a four-year project to collect and code data about every Supreme Court case from the Founding through 1952, which will result in a comprehensive Supreme Court Database. CERL is the technological home of the project and will be collaborating with scholars at Northwestern, Michigan State, Penn, Princeton and Stony Brook.
