Of course no scientific research center could operate without lots of computing power. Brian Ingram and Jeff Coates of the Law School's Technology Services (site) are the masterminds behind this robust and complex server environment. When the center was established, an initial laundry list was drawn up of the necessary starting resources. In addition, a request that the resultant environment be scalable both vertically and horizontally for future growth certainly complicated the endeavor. Brian identified and architected the hardware while Jeff configured and maintains the enterprise level server. Without their expertise and continued diligence, the growing body of scientific work conducted at CERL would not be possible.
