We believe that those engaged in scholarship should be able to devote their time to doing research and writing. Accordingly, CERL uses available administrative expertise to assist principal investigators with grant applications, grant management, and budget management, freeing the researchers to focus attention on their research. CERL staff have broad experience with internal Washington University budget systems, Fastlane, and Grants.gov application systems. The CERL intranet, when completed, will encourage organized collaboration and provide all principal investigators real-time access to pertinent budgetary information. CERL faculty and staff also have experience organizing small and large conferences.
